Satakunta region boosts student entrepreneurship

The universities located in Finland's Satakunta region have launched an initiative, which aims to encourage students to develop their business ideas.

The All In initiative was announced by the University Consortium of Pori on 10 February. It aims to increase student entrepreneurs by advising them on how to start their own companies. It will do this through running events and creating a mentoring programme, it said.

The initiative is jointly run by the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, the Diaconia University of Applied Sciences, the University of Turku, the Satakunta Educational Federation, the WinNova higher education institution, and the Finnish Business Angels Network.
