Two vice-presidents have been selected for Tampere University, which will start operating in early 2019 following a merger of three existing higher education institutions.
The two vice-presidents are Marja Sutela, now vice-president of Tampere University of Applied Sciences, and Juha Teperi, currently the dean of the faculty of social sciences at the University of Tampere.
A meeting of Tampere University’s transitional board on 28 August also chose a provost, Jarmo Takala, who was previously vice-president at the Tampere University of Technology.
