Russia refuses to hand marine data to Norway

Russian authorities are refusing to hand over data resulting from a research collaboration between Russia and Norway, reports Science Nordic.

The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research, the University of Bergen and Russian Scientists at the Institute of Marine Research in Murmansk (PINRO) placed five oceanic observation rigs between Franz Josef’s Land and Novaya Zemlja in the Barents Sea in September 2007.
