Law expert to head Norway’s science academy

A law professor has become the next president of the Norwegian academy of sciences, it was announced on 5 February.

Kirsti Strøm Bull, a professor of law at the University of Oslo, has accepted her election as president of the Norske Videnskaps-Akademi, the Norwegian academy of sciences and letters. She is the second woman in the academy’s history to hold the post.
