Norway launches fund for early-career researchers

A research pot worth 300 million Norwegian kroner (€40m) to fund early-career research talent over the next three years was announced by Norway’s government last week.

The money is provided jointly by Forskningsrådet, the research council of Norway, and the country’s research ministry. The goal of the initiative is to provide funding for projects led by early-career scientists.
