Norway’s research council, Forskningsrådet, has announced the first call for its programme on public health services.
The call on effective health and welfare services, worth 200 million Norwegian kroner (€23m) was launched on 5 June. It is the largest single call for the area that the council has launched to date, Forskningsrådet said in a statement. In the future, the yearly calls will be worth kr130m.
“The funds will provide opportunities for more and better research in day-care, work, health care and welfare services,” said head of Forskningsrådet Arvid Hallén.
