The Russian Academy of Sciences has proposed the establishment of a technology advisory council to advise on developing technologies and boost collaboration between private and public companies.
Sergey Aldoshin, vice-president of the RAS, said that the future world economy will be shaped by innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, big data and portable power sources, the Russian news agency TASS reported.
At a meeting on 6 June, Aldoshin said that it was important to create a technology advisory council as part of the National Technology Initiative to ensure that Russian companies remain leaders in the global market.
