Entries are now being accepted for the Invest in our Future- Invest in Science’ video contest, which aims to raise public awareness about the importance of science in our daily lives.
Each entry should be no more than two minutes long and should “explain the importance of investment in research for the future of society”, according to the Portuguese group that is organising the contest.
Three winners will be selected based on creativity, impact, and relevance. Two winners will be chosen by a jury and the third will be the most popular video based on voting on Facebook. Winners receive a cash prize of €500, sponsored by Bayer and Portugal’s Caixa Geral de Depósitos, and will have their video shown at conferences and other events.
