Commission identifies projects eligible for Juncker plan

The European Commission has said it has already identified about 2,000 projects across Europe that could become part of the investment package proposed last week by president Jean-Claude Juncker.

A report published by the Commission on 9 December lists the projects submitted by each member state and those identified by the Commission itself, which could be eligible for the investment package.

Although no money has been committed yet to any of the projects included in the report, the document sheds some light on what the €21 billion of EU funds included in Juncker plan might be spent on.
