Bulgaria to contribute €100 million to Efsi

The European Commission has announced that Bulgaria has become the eighth member state to set out its contribution to the European Fund for Strategic Investments.

Bulgaria will contribute €100m to Efsi through the co-financing of projects by the Bulgarian Development Bank, the Commission said on 30 June. 

Germany, France, Italy and Poland have each announced that they will contribute €8bn to Efsi, while Spain has said it will contribute €1.5bn, Slovakia €400m and Luxembourg €80m.
