The Spanish government wants to increase its R&D collaboration with the UK despite the latter’s decision to leave the EU, research minister Carmen Vela has said.
Vela gave a lecture on the future of Spanish and European research and innovation at University College London on 10 April. During her visit, she also held meetings with the leaders of some British universities and with Mark Walport, the chief executive of the UK’s overarching national research and innovation funding body.
