Extra session scheduled to hear Commission’s timeline for climate action
The European Parliament will meet in its entirety for a special session this week on the European Commission’s European Green Deal, which will set out how the continent is to become “climate-neutral”.
Parliament confirmed on 9 December that MEPs will get the chance to challenge Commission president Ursula von der Leyen on the details of her deal during the two-hour extraordinary session on 11 December.
