‘Strategic foresight’ used to inform insights on long-term trends in economies, environment and society
The European Commission has announced the timing of its major initiatives for 2020, including the launch of several much-anticipated policy packages around research and innovation.
A communication on the future of research and innovation and the European research area will be published in the second quarter of the year, according to a work programme published on 29 January. A communication on the missions being introduced to the Horizon Europe R&D programme will be published in the fourth quarter.
