Scholarly links to form part of ‘comprehensive strategy’

The EU is planning to boost academic cooperation with Africa as part of a new “comprehensive strategy” for collaboration presented by the European Commission on 9 March.

The Commission proposed “that the EU scales up EU-Africa academic and scientific cooperation”, including on technical and vocational education and skills development in association with businesses, “with a view to creating a knowledge society and economy”.
