Ministerial declaration supports development of skills, promotion of ethics and cooperation on infrastructure

Research ministers from the G20 group of leading global economies have adopted a joint declaration stressing the importance of digitisation to research and education, and the need to harness all three in the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We believe in increasing digitalisation to deal with the major challenges the world will face after Covid-19,” says the declaration adopted on 6 August, following the first meeting of research ministers under the Italian G20 presidency.
