Top-level discussions to bolster research will take place at a conference in Prague this week
Ministers and officials from across Europe are gathering in Prague this week to discuss ways to get more out of the many sources of European research and innovation funding.
The Czech Republic is hosting a Conference on Synergies in the Research and Innovation Funding in Europe, as part of its July-to-December presidency of the Council of the EU. The presidency, which rotates among EU member states, is used to coordinate EU-level activities of the bloc’s countries for six months, and has some influence over the issues that are worked on.
