EU education ministers say early intervention is needed to increase women’s participation in scientific careers
All EU member state governments need to take steps to improve gender equality in science, technology, engineering and mathematics subjects, education ministers have been told.
The ministers met on 23 November, when they adopted texts on digital education and the role of education in promoting EU values, and discussed how to make Stem subjects more attractive for women and girls.
