RTOs seek bigger role in more focused European Research Area

Research and technology organisations are seeking a bigger role for themselves in shaping the future priorities of a more focused European Research Area.

The ERA is a longstanding initiative for bringing EU countries closer together on their research and innovation policies and raising R&I standards. In 2021, 18 new ERA action priorities were adopted for 2022-24, in a bid to reinvigorate the initiative.
