Researchers praise former Italian prime minister’s recommendations but say they require comprehensive action
The research sector has welcomed a major report saying that research, innovation and education should be the focus of a “fifth freedom” of the EU’s single market.
But research leaders want the European Commission and EU member states to take comprehensive action to implement the recommendations of the report by former Italy prime minister Enrico Letta (pictured).
