Association seeks to boost political support for science

Science Europe calls on candidates to pledge commitment to scientific research ahead of European election

Science Europe, an association of major research funding and performing organisations, has launched a campaign calling on candidates in next month’s European Parliament election to commit to supporting scientific research.

Launched on 17 May, the Vote for Science campaign wants candidate MEPs to commit to five pledges covering increased investment, academic freedom, collaboration, equality and communication.
