Meeting texts urge increased focus on evidence and wider scope for learning mobility

EU education ministers have agreed to promote research into education, to help raise standards as part of the European Education Area policymaking initiative.

At the Council of the EU meeting with education commissioner Iliana Ivanova (pictured left) in Brussels on 13 May, ministers agreed on four priorities aimed at promoting evidence-informed policymaking and practice for education.
