Energy ministers say international R&D cooperation is needed to overcome remaining challenges
The G7 group of leading global economies has committed to creating a group intended to strengthen their cooperation on nuclear fusion R&D.
Ministers of the G7—which comprises Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US—gathered on 29 and 30 April in Turin, Italy. After the meeting, the group’s climate, energy and environment ministers released a joint statement setting out various commitments.
