Coordination platform should help policymakers pick priority research areas
The European Commission has opened a €3-million funding call for setting up a platform to help EU and national agencies work together on research into food safety.
The call, which opened on 15 October, said the platform will aim to map out current food safety research efforts, boost research capacity, share knowledge and data, reduce research overlap, improve public communication and discuss long-term projects.
