Regulators open consultation on drug company mergers

Transatlantic collaboration wants to know how impacts on innovation can be assessed

An international group of competition regulators that is examining mergers in the pharmaceutical industry has opened a public consultation on the subject, seeking views from academics and other experts.

Views submitted to the consultation will be used to develop a workshop that will be organised later this year, the European Commission said on 12 May. They must be submitted by 25 June.
