The department of physics at Lund University in Sweden has launched a joint laboratory with the European Spallation Source and MAX IV laboratory, it was announced on 21 December.
The lab is the first initiative between the research facilities and leads up to joint infrastructures in the future Science City, which will be located between MAX IV and ESS.
