Public trust in researchers returns

The trust Swedes have in researchers has swung up after a couple of years of decline, according to the latest study by think tank Public and Science (VA).

The study, published on 5 December, says that 77 per cent of Swedes have a very strong trust in researchers at the country’s universities and higher education colleges. This compares to only 63 per cent last year, and brings trust levels back to 2008 levels.
