Science infrastructure proposals published

The Swedish government should coordinate data on climate, environment and natural resources and focus participation in international research on projects with the greatest value for Sweden, the Swedish science council, Vetenskabsrådet, has said.

In a report published on 21 December, the council also recommended the establishment of technical platforms for molecular life sciences and biomedicines.

The six recommendations have been submitted to the government ahead of negotiations for a research bill in 2012.
