Sweden gets transport research centre

Vinnova, the Swedish government’s innovation agency, is funding a transport research centre in Lindholmen, an area of the port in Gothenburg.

According to a statement published on 16 January the centre, called Closer, will receive 4 million kroner (€456,000) in funding in its first year. The aim is to strengthen the innovation chain by increasing transport research cooperation.
