The Swedish Defence Research Agency has abandoned plans for a weapons factory in Saudi Arabia, newspaper Ny Teknik reported on 17 October.
The plans stem back to a military cooperation agreement between the two countries from 2005. But the agency came under fire in March after public broadcaster Swedish Radio reported about the collaboration.
