Sweden’s government has identified mining research as a priority for its presidency of the intergovernmental Nordic Council of Ministers.
Ewa Björling, the minister for Nordic collaboration, announced the plans on 30 October. The objective is to create a sustainable and competitive mining industry in the Nordic region.
