Sida to support human-rights research in Cambodia

The Swedish International Development Cooperation (Sida) has announced it will invest 43 million Swedish kronor (€5m) in a project to establish research projects on human rights at universities in Cambodia.

The five-year project will be carried out by charity Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law—which was founded in 1984 at Lund University. The research programmes will initially take place at two universities in Cambodia.
