The Swedish Energy Agency has invested 11 million Swedish kronor (€1.3m) in two research projects at the Swedish hydropower centre based in Stockholm.
Some 3.6m kronor will go to a project to develop tools and methods for the construction and maintenance of hydraulic structures in the hydropower industry.
