Astrid Söderbergh Widding took office as the vice-chancellor of Stockholm University on 1 February.
Söderbergh Widding, who replaces Kåre Bremer, is a former deputy vice-chancellor for Humanities and Social Sciences at the institution. She has worked at the Fulbright Commission and served as a board member of the Swedish Film Institute.
