An international research project on the wonder material graphene, led by Chalmers University of Technology in Gothemburg, has secured more than €500 million in EU funding over the coming decade.
The project, “Graphene Flagship”, was one of two winning projects in the European Commission’s Future and Emerging Technologies competition. The other winning bid, announced in Brussels on 28 January, was the international neuroscience collaboration “The Human Brain Project”, which the Karolinska Institute is involved in.
