Sweden faces shortage of engineers, warns statistics agency

Sweden’s statistics agency SCB has estimated that Sweden is likely to face a shortage of about 30,000 engineering graduates by 2030.

The SCB found that while the study of engineering has become increasingly popular in recent years, the number of students that actually finish their degrees is falling.
