Institutions designated to take part in a government project to boost strategic research have grown into significant players in Sweden, a third-year review of the project shows.
A review on 43 institutions, designated by the government to do strategic research, shows that these institutions have reached the amount of funding they need to be able to fully focus on their work.
The review covered institutions within 20 different research areas, for the third year in a row.
