The European Commission has launched a tool for migrants and refugees to register their CVs, and is considering extending a researcher mentoring programme.
The EU Skills Profile Tool for Third-Country Nationals, announced by the Commission on 20 June, allows migrants and refugees to upload their skills and qualifications for use by employers in Europe.
It is intended to be used in migrant reception and public employment centres, and the information it collects will be used to offer guidance and support job-searching. It will be available in all EU languages as well as Arabic, Farsi, Pashto, Sorani, Somali and Tigrinya.
