Baltic students demand action on sexual harassment

Student unions called for harassment policies in higher education institutions

A coalition of Baltic student unions has called on higher education institutions in the region to take action against sexual harassment and psychological violence.

In a joint statement that emerged from a meeting that took place over the summer, reported by the European Students’ Union on 15 October, unions representing students in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania demanded that institutions in their countries put in place policies and support to tackle the problems.
