The persistent problems of sexism and ageism in academia have been brought to light again, this time by a scholar who was told she “looked like a teenager” after a job interview.
Juliette Ferry-Danini, a philosopher of medicine, science and ethics at Sorbonne Université later deleted her posts about the unpleasant comments from social media.
