A research project is developing ways to assess the quality of European Universities—the EU-funded pilot projects testing cross-border collaboration in higher education.

The project, called Developing a European Approach for Comprehensive QA of (European) University Networks, or Euniq, is producing a quality assurance framework to help assess four pilot European Universities. These are projects that will allow students to study at multiple European universities and receive accreditation.

Like the pilots themselves, Euniq is being funded through the EU’s Erasmus+ programme, which supports student mobility. It has been awarded more than €195,000 to address gaps in national quality assurance programmes.
