Institutional survey finds data-management policy gaps in important areas

Research institutions should intensify their policies on data management—including by creating stronger incentives for researchers to comply—a university group has recommended.

The recommendations were based on a survey of the Cesaer group of science and technology universities, to which staff with data management roles contributed responses. They survey identified gaps in institutions’ data policies, according to a 13 February report.
