UK leaving EUI ‘a very sad loss’ for all

President of prestigious doctoral and postdoctoral centre says he hopes UK will rejoin in future

The president of the European University Institute, Renaud Dehousse, has said the UK leaving the EUI is a “very sad loss” for the prestigious research centre. 

The UK is set to end its participation in the EUI after the country’s government confirmed it could not reach an agreement with the institute on continued involvement.
