Funders, universities and academies meet with European Parliament representatives over draft plans

Plans to support academic freedom in the EU are gathering pace, with the R&D sector meeting with European Parliament representatives to give feedback on proposals to monitor it. The proposals come amid rising concerns over the erosion of academic freedom in the bloc and beyond.
