Plea comes after Utrecht University’s decision to leave Times Higher Education ranking
Higher education institutions should “collectively pass” on taking part in some university rankings, the rector magnificus of Utrecht University has said following his institution’s decision to withdraw from one popular league table.
In September, Utrecht University revealed it had chosen not to provide data to the voluntary ranking run by Times Higher Education, meaning it is not included in this year’s THE league table.
