Iliana Ivanova says Commission will seek to make EU less “naive” around research openness
An EU proposal on research security will be released next week, the bloc’s commissioner for research has revealed.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on 15 January, Iliana Ivanova said the European Commission would imminently propose that the Council of the EU member states adopt a recommendation on research security. Recommendations are non-binding acts that set out certain aims, in this case coordination and awareness raising on research security.
