Erasmus+ ‘needs bigger budget and more flexibility’

Funding shortfall “makes it increasingly difficult to run projects successfully”, says university group

The EU’s Erasmus+ programme to support academic mobility needs a bigger budget and more flexibility, according to the Cesaer group of European science and technology universities.

On 6 February, Cesaer published a position paper on Erasmus+, as a follow-up to its member universities having submitted individual responses to a consultation on the programme.
