Achieving gender equality in research requires stronger action at EU level, says Siobán O’Brien Green
Gender equality is a matter of workplace safety in academia. That’s the message coming from the Coimbra Group of 40 European universities.
Coimbra set up a working group on equality and diversity three years ago, and tackling gender-based violence in academia is top of its priority list for 2023 to 2026. The working group wants to address the issue head on.
