Not agreeing to disagree
This month the European Parliament signed off on a report from its special committee on artificial intelligence, calling for more investment into—and positivity around—the technology. But the report’s lead MEP, Axel Voss, is not happy that a planned call for the EU to tweak its General Data Protection Regulation to better support AI did not survive negotiations among the Parliament’s various political groups.
