Six firms win Callaghan contracts for rural startup services

Science minister Paul Goldsmith has announced six NZ companies will run Callaghan Innovation “founder incubator services” to mentor startups based in regional areas.

He said the incubators will be based in Hamilton, Northland and Wellington and will help regional startups with technology, business planning, market testing and securing investment capital.

Callaghan Innovation is a government agency that provides research and technology grants to New Zealand’s businesses.
