Pacific startups come to NZ museum incubator

Digital technology entrepreneurs from Pacific Island nations have started a four-month residency at Te Papa Museum of New Zealand’s innovation accelerator programme in Wellington.

The three project teams were chosen after they participated in a Pacific Innovation workshop held earlier in July by the museum’s Mahuki digital innovation project and the Pacific Business Trust.

They are museum collection management startup SimplyFi, digital language learning system Tide Talk and interactive portrait technology project Vaka Interactiv.
